A few days ago. I'm looking for information on the Honeywell 50002883-001 Coverplate, so i would like to describe here.
These face plates are definitely the easy way out and are all that. We recently replaced two old thermostats with programmable Honeywell versions but ran into a little problem, because the old ones were huge and new ones were much smaller. We were left with large unpainted squares around the mounting boxes which had been pierced and anchored by home builders who apparently did the easy way out. I wasn't looking forward to trying to match the existing wall paint
